Place at the bottom of a feeder, underneath the seed inside, and Feeder Fresh will absorb any moisture within the feeder. Keeping the seed dry and preventing the development of mould which can grow rapidly on damp seed.
Keeping seed in the feeder dry also helps to prevent the waste of moisture-damaged seed which the birds will not eat. In effect Feeder Fresh can help to make your seed go further.
