Neue Schule bits are made from a unique warmer metal and are ergonomically designed and engineered. The metal is a copper alloy that has high thermal properties allowing it to reach the temperature of the horses mouth rapidly, which helps to encourage salivation and acceptance and a consistent contact.
The angled lozenge in the centre of the mouthpiece is set on at a 20 degree which allows it to lie flatter in the horse's mouth. There is an arrow which must point forwards on the near side (left hand side) of the bit to guide you so that the bit is the correct way round. This unique angled lozenge has a very smooth contour and ergonomically designed shape to take up less room in the mouth so it will not interfere with the horse's palate.
Tranz Angled Lozenge - is a gentle bit with the angled lozenge that rolls down onto the centre of the tongue smoothly. The bit is slightly curved to suit the shape of the horse's mouth.
