About Us
4dobbin.com is the next step in the development of Chandlers Equestrian and Country Stores. The web site is backed up with a wealth of knowledge within the equestrian market that comes from ten years of trading and employing over 50 staff. The five stores around Lincolnshire allow 4dobbin to stock many different and unusual products as well as everything you would expect to find in a well-stocked equestrian outlet. It also means that availability of products is good with high stocking levels in all five shops to draw from plus a dedicated equestrian warehouse.
Searching & Browsing 4dobbin
4dobbin has been designed to be quick and easy to use. Once on the home page you can use the menu system on the left-hand side of the screen, and in one click you can get to the product you are interested in. Alternatively you can use the 'search by brand' or the 'search' feature to find a specific item or brand of product you are looking for. Whichever method of browsing you choose you can be sure of quick and accurate results.
Making a Purchase on 4dobbin
Once you have selected an item you would like to buy, simply click on the specific size or colour required if applicable, and select the quantity you would like. Once you have done this click on the' add to basket' icon and that item will be added to your shopping basket. You can add to or amend the contents of your basket at any time by clicking on the shopping basket icon in the top right of the screen. Once you have finished shopping and would like to pay for the selected items displayed in your basket, click on the 'proceed to checkout' icon.
For purchases within the UK
From this point you will be able to choose your shipping requirements giving you a total cost and the choice to go through to Protx our secure payment provider to make your payment.
Making a purchase on 4dobbin from outside the UK
The shipping costs for sending your order will be calculated on an individual basis so we can be as competitive as possible on transportation of your goods. After filling out the checkout details you will be notified by email that we have received your request for a quote on shipping, this does not obligate you to the purchase. We will calculate the costs and you will receive a further email stating the full price. From this email you can link directly back into your purchase and complete the order if satisfied. Taking you through to Protx our secure payment provider.
Payment
Once you have clicked on the 'checkout' icon you will be taken through to the login page, where existing members enter their email address and password. Non members click on the 'New Members' link and fill out their details on the 4dobbin secure site. Once you have filled in your details correctly and entered them you will be asked to check your email account to complete your registration. 4dobbin will automatically send you an email with a link so you can get back to 4dobbin and buy your chosen goods. This process ensures you have typed in your correct email address so that 4dobbin can inform you of any problems and the status of your order. It also helps with security and helps to prevent fraud. You only have to go through this procedure once, after that you can just login with your email address and chosen password to go through to the checkout page. The checkout screen will give you a list of the delivery options and the prices. You must choose one of these options and the delivery charge will be added to your total bill. Then tick the box to say you have read and agreed to 4dobbin's terms and conditions and click 'submit'. You will be taken to our secure payment provider Protx. You will be asked for your credit card details and billing address if different from the one shown. Make sure the address you give matches the credit card you are paying with, this is for security reasons, and any different delivery addressed is filled in, in the appropriate place. You will be shown the full amount you will be charged then click on proceed. You will receive notification that your payment has been accepted. This is all done on a secure site that protects your information by encrypting the data.
Confirmation
Once an order has been placed we will check availability and email the customer back confirming the order has been accepted. You will be notified of any possible delays or stock shortage so you can decide whether to proceed with the order or cancel it. If we do not receive any notification of a change to the order within 2 days the order will be processed as normal.
Delivery
4dobbin use Parcel Force for the majority of their deliveries as we feel they provide a superb service. If you are not present to sign for the goods Parcel Force will drop a delivery slip through your door. The slip will give details of the main parcel force depot in your area where the goods can be signed for and collected. It will also give you a number to ring should you wish to arrange another delivery date, or arrange for the goods to be dropped at your local village post office, where you could sign for and pick up the goods at your convenience. This service is free of charge and gives you the best chance of receiving the goods without any further costs.

Next Day (24 hours for orders received monday to thursday no later than 12 p.m..) 8.00 GBP

Returns

Due to the health hazard and hygiene problems involved with horse and rider clothing and allied products, it is regretted that we are unable to service or handle ANY returns unless they are CLEAN AND DRY. If items are returned in an unsatisfactory condition they will be sent back to you for cleaning.
If you need to return an item for any reason please do so within 14 days of receiving the goods. You will need to use the returns form on 4dobbin.com detailing whether you want an exchange, refund or if the goods are faulty. Please complete the form, email it to 4dobbin and print a copy to send back with the returned item. Refunds will be made once the goods have been received and checked. For exchange items please detail the size or colour of the exchange item you require. You will not be charged for the delivery of the exchange item. Refunds will be given minus the delivery costs to all returned goods so long as they have not been used or damaged and come back in their original packaging. Faulty goods will be subject to inspection and if found genuine a replacement or a refund will be made available. Your return postage costs will be refunded if the fault is genuine. THESE ITEMS MUST BE IN A CLEAN CONDITION. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Guarantee
4dobbin will back up any guarantee issued by the manufacturer relating to the product you have bought from us, as long as the goods have been used for their stated purpose.
